Titanium alloys are generally classified into three main categories


Single-phase and single-phase titanium alpha alloys exhibit the ability to close higher source. Generally due to the high aluminum content of the alloys in this group located 316 - 593 C in the temperature range exhibits excellent strength properties and oxidation resistance. Alpha alloys, not be subject to heat treatment to improve the mechanical properties.


After solution annealing at high beta ratio of the stabilizing elements titanium alaşımar in this group which causes a metastable beta microstructure. Comprehensive curing occurs by precipitation of the alpha during aging.


Beta-stabilizing alloying elements in the controlled use of the beta phase to room temperature, to cause to continue under the beta transus temperature, resulting in a two phase system. A small amount of beta stabilizers will stabilize the beta phase even at room temperature. High amounts of alpha stabilizer and a small amount of alpha-beta alloys are alloys designed with beta stabilizers and usually are called high alpha or near alpha alloys.
